as a kid, I had a ton of transformers and just about every episode on tape...and most of the comic books >.> they fucking kicked major ass.

now, watching the trailer reminds me that I have to watch it keeping in mind this is for hollywood-made viewers -- not real fans of the cartoons/comics. it's very hollywood..and highly recognizable as a michael bay film.

Yeah that is what I wanted to say but totally couldn't think how to. It looks like it may be an alright movie, but it's probably not for the fans. They got the original voice of Prime back in though.

you don't have to be old to know the cartoon, I am 16 and watched it when I was a kid, I wasn't able to read the subtitles so I might have been a bit to young :D
I tho loved the plains that became robots, btw in belgium you still got a cartoon from it on television :D

i saw the trailer..and thought wtf its another shitty alien sci fi movie. i hate those. then it transformed..(forgive the pun)..into transformers O_o whoa, 360 degree turn..and now i wanna see it xD

i cant wait for TMNT!! i watched transformers but grew up during the turtle age too :D
